About Me
In 2021, I transitioned from architecture to focus on visual communication, shifting from shaping physical spaces to designing how people experience information.

I’ve always been creative, from drawing and building as a child to studying Art and DT through GCSEs and A-Levels. That passion led me to study architecture at university, but I quickly realised the slow pace and delayed impact didn’t suit me. While leading the Islamic Society, I discovered graphic design while designing for events and promotional materials, and I fell in love with its immediacy and storytelling power.
I left architecture, continued to refine my skillset, and started building for my natural network, Muslim brands—something I still do today. During a period of uncertainty (since I no longer wanted to pursue the very thing I went to uni for), I found a UX/UI bootcamp and the final part (for now) clicked–meaning my love for digital design. I soon joined a global medcomms agency, where I was able to work on major pharma brands in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment that let me combine creativity with problem-solving.

The Journal is a series of thoughts, lessons and stories from my journey as a designer. Expect honest reflections, design tips, and ideas I’m exploring.
